Estates of Collin County Court
T. M. & L. E. STIMSON July term 1881
To the Count Court of Collin County Texas:
M. L. BRIGHT guardian of the estates of the above named minors begs leave to submit the following as his 3rd annual account. He states that the report filed by him on 18th of May 1880 showed at the time of filing his first account he had on hand $182.96 and that said report showed that he had paid out for said wares (wards?) in all $77.98. Now he shows that the item in said account as shows Voucher No. 4 amounting to $4.60 and the Commission of reporter $3.71 were paid for the joint benefit of his two wards, that these two sums added together would make $8.31 which subtracted from said $182.96 would leave $173.99 belonging to both of said Wards jointly or $86.84 ½ to each of said wards. Now he would represent that he paid out for the minor T. M. STIMSON $45.27 according to the vouchers filed with said report—May 18, 1880 leaving bal. of $41.57 in reporter’s hands belonging to T. M. STIMSON and that he paid out according to said report filed May 18th…

He also shows that there was a mistake in his report filed May 18 1880 of $5.00 against reporter, that the mistake was made in adding up the column of expenditures that instead of it being $77.98 pd. out it was as the figures show #82.98. He also states that there has been no change in the condition of said estate and that he is cognizant of the justness of the above claims paid off by him.
