paid off in the partition of the money aforesaid. He further represents that
the heirs of JOHN MALLOW deceased
are entitled (?) to the sum of $45.05 their distributive shares in this
partition of the money on hand which they have not yet recd. & the same is
held for them.
He holds a note on A. C. LACY & D. MOLEY
(?) dated July 18, 1863 due six months for 183.37 with credits bearing ten per

would report that by virtue of an order passed at the present term of said
court authorized him to sell at private sale for Cash in hand certain lands
belonging to his said Ward in said order described did on the 30th
day of November 1875 sell to the Houston and Texas Central Railway Company at
private sale for the sum of nine hundred and forty Dollars to be paid cash in
hand the following described tract of land to wit situated in Collin County
part of a survey of 640 acres in the name of JOSEPH KLEPPER and it being part of a tract of Eleven acres
conveyed by JOSEPH KLEPPER to H. H. GOSSUM by deed band beginning at
the NW corner of said Eleven Acres Thence E 8 chs. [chains] 87 lks. [links] to L. BULTER’S NW corner…

to wit. A part of said 11 acre tract and beginning at the SW corner of the
crossing of Main and Jefferson streets in said town of Plano on the west side
of Jefferson Street Thence West 80 feet with the line of said Jefferson street a
stake in said line thence south thirty feet a stake Thence East 80 feet a stake
in the west line of said Main street Thence North 30 feet to the Beginning.
Wherefore
Reporter prays that said sale be confirmed and he be ordered to execute title
to the purchasers on payment of the purchase money. There yet remains about one
half of an acre to be sold.

In the name of God we JAMES M. ENLOE & MARY
ENLOE husband and wife being of sound mind and being desirous of so
arranging our earthly matters that the survivor or our marriage may occupy and
enjoy our property without motepation (sic)
or hinderance [hindrance] do make and constitute this our last will and
testament.
First.
It is our desire and we do hereby bequest to
the survivor of our marriage all of our property owned and possessed by us at
our death real personal or mixed separate or community all money then due &
on hand or to become due after our death and also all property that we may be
entitled to at our death by inheritance or otherwise to have and to hold unto
him or her self forever with full power to control sell & alienate the same
and make to the purchase or purchases thereof good and valid title without
remainder or reversion into our heirs.
2nd
It is our desire and we do hereby bequest to
our beloved daughter NANNIE E. FREEMAN
or the heirs of her body all the aforesaid property which may remain at the
death of the survivor at to have to and to hold after the death of said survivor
all of said property remaining as aforesaid forever.
3rd
We do hereby nominate constitute…

marriage Executor or Executrix of this our last will and testament and direct
that no action shall be taken by the courts of the County in our said estate
except the return of an inventory and appraisement of the property and the
probate of the our last will our said executor or executrix shall not be
required to give bond as required by law but shall take charge of the property
and dispose of it as herein directed.

Estate of FRED HAFNER decd. late of
the City of Shreveport, La. the sum of one hundred and twenty Dollars to each
of said minors. That he has paid the sum of one hundred & Twenty Dollars to
FRED METZER & MRS. GERTRUDE METZER the natural
guardians of the persons of said minors for the brand (?) of said minors for
two months. That when he paid said sum of money that he personally knew that
the sum was just claim against their said Estate and that he then expected to
realize more from the estate of the said F.
HAFNER dec. but since and after diligent endeavors he failed to procure any
other sums of money or property real or personal to which said minors are
entitled and he knows of no other property real personal or mixed belonging to
their said Estate wherefore he asks that he be permitted to resign the
guardianship of said minors and that after due notice of this his application
he has been given according to law that he and his sureties be released from
further liability.

HEART survey, the remainder of the land found belonging to me I wish
equally divided between all my children except AMANDA P. F. FALKNER & SOCRATES H. STIMSON to whom I have given
land and other property. I wish ISAAC W.
STIMSON heirs to receive one child’s part and LUCY F. ATCHISON the same the property I have given to my wife that
she does not use for her support, I desire disposed of Justas the above except
one acre of land including the grave yard equally divided between mine (nine?)
children seven living and the heirs of the other two deceased all notes in my
hands I wish disposed of as the other property. I desire to leave DAN STIMSON Executor to my will and
also guardian to the heirs of ISAAC W.

disposing mind and memory do make, ordain and declare this to be our last will
and testament hereby revoking any forever will or wills made by me.
Item 1st. My will is that my
property shall be disposed of as follows viz. to my beloved wife BETSY ANN MARTIN kindred (?) She is

my Virginia Legacy than will pay the Eight Hundred dollars that I bequeath to
my grandsons A. H. WEAVER and ROBERT W. WEAVER that over pluses or
balance of my legacy with the two Hundred and forty Dollars above named
constitute a sum out of which the burying expenses of myself and wife are to be
paid
Item 11th
I also will that if there be an over plus or
more that what I have disposed of in this my will that the balance be disposed
of as follows:

My will is that should there be more than
what I have disposed of that the same be equally divided between my five
children whose names are in this will.

I also give to my grand daughter MANAH THOMPSON my feather bed bedstead
and furniture.
