District Court of said Collin county he was instructed to sell 60 acres of land a part of the MICAHEL SEA Survey situated in Collin county belonging to the said Estate at private or public sale that on the 7th day of July A. d. 1876 he bargained and sold said land to Wm. P. YOUNG for the sum of six Hundred dollars payable within six months from date of confirmation of the sale that the said amount is a full and fair prince for the said land. The condition of the above obligation is that whereas the above bound MARTHA E. DUPEY has this day filed an inventory of the community property of herself and her deceased husband A. H. DUPEY now should the said MARTHA E. DUPEY faithfully administer said property and after paying off all the debts against said property that she will pay over to heirs of A. H. DUPEY one half of the remainder of said community property to said person or persons as are entitled to receive the same.

Now comes Wm. TURNER Guardian of W. L. SIDWELL a minor & begs leave of the Court to file this as a substitute for the orginal inventory in the Estate filed and which has been mislaid & is not recorded and also as an additional inventory of the property coming into his hands as guardian of foresaid. He further represents that the first two items in this inventory were inbraceal (?) in the original inventory herein filed.
The property is as follows to wit:

Seventy acres of Land in the MARY SCOTT survey 200.00
14 ¾ acres of Land in the MARTHA HEARN survey valued at $5.00 per acre 73.75

Reporter would represent that he has been at a great deal of trouble and Expense in the administration of said Estate and has lost a great deal of time in attending to the same that the 5% commission allowed herein under the law is not sufficient to reimburse him for the trouble expenses &c that he has kept no itemized accout of the same but thinks that the sum of forty dollars in addition to com[mission] will not more than reimburse him in the matter & prays the court to allow him said sum.
Reporter prays the court to make an order authorizing him to pay out the money on hand on such claims as may have precedence in matters of time or otherwise.

The undersigned further report that he made a contract of sale under said order but the contractor JAMES JORTERANT (?) failed to comply with his bid so it could be reported to the court in any authentic form and since by the failure in the session of course (?) during the reorguring (reorganizing?) under the new constitution this matter has been delayed to the present time. I have received from C. H. FROST of Houston County, Missouri late Guardian in said state of said NANCY C. JAMES the sum of Three Hundred Twenty five & 18/100 Dollars U. S. Currency and now hold the same as such guardian.

Now comes MARY E. STOGSDILLE admx. of said Estate & represents that in obedience to an order of your Honorable cr[ou]t. she advertized according to law and sold at the Court House door within legal hours on the first Wednesday in Nov. 1874 the same being the 3rd day thereof the following described property of said Est[ate] Part of Lot no. 1 in Block no. 1 in the town of Weston, Collin County 24 X 44 feet at public outcry to the highest bidder as the law requires when DR. C. R. HARRIS bid therefor the sum of two (?) hundred & Eighty Dollars which being the highest & best bid it was Knocked off to him. She submits to the court whether said property sold for its reasonable value & whether she should make deed under the Law.

Reporter would represent that 575.22 was paid to DURHAM by entering a credit for that amount on a Judgt. [Judgment] recovered in Dist. Crt. [Court] v. C. R. HARRIS for the sum of 616.45 by agreement of said HARRIS & the creditors that said DURHAM’S claim against the Est[ate] held a lien on the Drugstore & Lot in the town of Weston and the said HARRIS wholly insolvent & the remainder paid on the claims which had been allowed & approved within the twelve months or legally filed for approval.
