The note on which this Judgt. Was rendered was given for 256 acres of land belonging to the Estate of M. & C. MALLOW Dec. which was upon the report of the Commissioners of partitioned among the heirs ordered by the court to be Sold and in obedience to said ordered was Sold and this noted taken with personal Security & mortgage and afterward Sued on Judgt. In Dist. Crt. Foreclosing Vendors lien and on first Tuesday in July 1873 was sold by the sheriff of Collin Count to Satisf. Said Judgt. And your Reporter being the parties Defts. to be insolvent and in the discharge of his duty to the heirs of said Estate bid therefore the sum of $3879.50 and the Same was knocked off to him which he now hold (sic) as the property of the estate the remainder of the Judgt. He collected in money heretofore charged.

County of Collin as sureties are held and firmly bound unto the District Clerk of Collin and his Successors in office in the sum of Five thousand and eight hundred and fifty-two dollars and fifty-two cents ($5852.52) or the payment of which will and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs and legal representatives jointly and Severally firmly by these present. The condition of the above is Such that whereas the above bound M. A. WILSON is the surviving wife of AD WILSON Deceased late of Said County and has filed with the clerk of said County an Inventory and appraisement of all the community property belonging to the Estate of herself and deceased husband, Now if the said W. A. WILSON shall faithfully perform all the duties required of her by law and pay over to the person entitled to received the Same one half of said Estate which shall remain in her hands after paying all debts against Said community Estate, then this bond Shall be null and void otherwise to remain in full force.

PAYNE an attorney at Law, is sued on in the District court of that county—sd. note calls for $376 66/00 2/3 currency or $275 gold payable 1^st Jany. 1871, Decedent left some debts—That there is no will left by her – That administration of said Estate is necessary in order to collect & pay debts. Petitioner would ask to be appointed administrator of said Estate.

The undersigned a citizen of Collin County and said State would respectfully represent that SPENCER P. LEWIS departed this life at the residence of this applicant in the said County of Collin and State of Texas on the 19^th day of May 1874, intestate seized and possessed of a small amount of Property to wit: Two head of horses, Two pistoles Known as six shooters, one Derringers Pistole, one Saddle and bridle, all of the probable value of one hundred and fifty dollars. Applicant further represents that deceased had no relatives in this County and that he was justly indebted to applicant in the sum of fifty five dollars due for nursing in last Sickness, burial expenses &c. that deceased was a transient man and had no permanent domicile, he therefore prays that letters of administration be granted to him upon said estate.

HUNTER viz: in the southern East part of the JOHN HUNTER tract of land in County and State above named bounded on the south by the Rains line, West by R. D. McLEROY, north by ELBERT THOMPSON and DR. J. L. BROCKMAN; East by Road between sd. BROCKMAN and H. HARLESS containing forty four acres more or less also a ten acre block of woodland on Prices Creek Joining H. HARLESS, East, J. WARREN on the S., ELBERT THOMPSON on the west and MILES GRAVES on the north, to have and to hold for the maintenance and benefit during her life time (she being a cripple) and at her death to be sold and the proceeds thereof to be equally divided between all my children above mentioned the legal heirs of my body.

Item 2^nd, I further more devise, after the payment of my just debts that whatever of my effects in debts due or otherwise to be appropriated equally between all of my children after my death, I further more devise and appoint JOHN COX of County and State above mentioned my Executor to this my last Will and Testament and devise him to act as guardian to my minor children.

NEWSOME has filed in the District Court of Collin County an application for letters of Administration on the Estate of ISHAM PITMAN deceased, which will be heard at the Present term of said Court at the Court house thereof in the city of McKinney at which time all persons interested in said administration may appear and contest said application if they see proper.

Herein fail not under penalty of the law and of this writ make due return.

Report of sale of property of Estate of HENRY O. HEDGECOXE Decd.

To the Hon. County Court Collin County in probate July Term 1876.

The petition of A. J. ATKINSON Administrator of the Estate of H. O. HEDGECOXE deceased known to the court that on 22^nd Dec. 1874 in the District Court of Collin County Texas there was ordered a Judgment in for (favor?) of the plffs. in the case in said Court then pending entitled THOS. H. EMERSON & BRO. vs. S. C. ANDERSON Et. Al for the sum of $574.24 with interest at 2 per ct. per month until paid and cost of court. That said estate of H. O. HEDGECOXE represented by your petition as administrator’s a party defendant in said suit and Judgment that said Judgment ordered a foreclosure of the vendor’s lien in behalf of the plaintiff therein upon the property herein after described that the interest of said ANDERSON in said property was sold under an order of sale by the Sheriff in June 1870 for $300 and afterwards to wit on 1^st Tuesday in May 1876 the interest of the Estate of said HEDGECOXE in said property the same being an undivided part was after due advertisement sold at public outcry at the Door of the Court House in McKinney and THOS. H. EMERSON & BRO. plaintiffs being the highest and best bidders became the purchasers thereof for $325.00 said property is situated in the City of McKinney Collin County Texas and is described as follows part of lot No. 52 in Block No. 7 the plot of McKinney. Beginning at the SE cor. of said lot No. 52 in said Block No. 7…
