N. B. One half of the late office and books of decd. sold to Jno. C. Easton for 160 acres of the above mentioned 320. J. J. Dickson assignee of Seabourn & Clements sold by executor and the residence and two lots sold by executor for $1750.00 invested as part payment for a homestead for family near Clarkville.
We find the negroes to be the separate property of Mrs. Dickson.
The valuations placed on the property has been made for gold and silver prices.
There is one mortgage for $1500.00 on the late farm of A. H. Martin $1500.00.
We find Mr. Dickson was security for A. H. Martin for $500.00…

…to one person, or at least is sued as a security and has paid a judgment for some 300 for said
A. H. Martin for which he was security which judgment is transferred to Dickson 300.00.
There are notes and accounts due the late firm of Dickson & Throckmorton but for the largest portion for unfinished business and as such of it will be turned over to other parties it is impossible to ascertain anything like the approximate value there (sic) notes & accounts however have been scheduled & copies furnished the executors of the estate. The foregoing is as correct as our means of information will enable us to make it of the Value and consideration of sd [said] estate all of which is respectfully submitted.

In the name of God, Amen. I, WILLIAM DAVIS, of the County of Collin and State of Texas being weak of body but sound in mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this moral state of existence, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made, I will to my beloved wife, ELIZABETH DAVIS, after the payment of all my just debts all my property both real and personal which consists of the following property, to wit:
One hundred and sixty eight acres of land situated in the County of Collin and State of Texas being the certain tract upon which I now reside and described as follows: Beginning at the N W corner of a 164 acre survey made in the name of the heirs of McKinze Wilhite, Thence South 80 chains, Thence East 21 chains to the S W corner of a 40 acre tract owned by Isaac A. Farris, Thence West 21 chains to the place of beginning. Also one other tract containing 80 acres situated on the waters of Little Elm in Denton County being a part of the Headright of George Jay, the metes and bounds of which are particularly set forth in a deed executed to me by Larkin Adamson and bearing March 245h 1860. The personal property consists of two head of horses and one mule about 18 head of cattle, a small lot of hogs 138 dollars in money, and all debts of whatever character due or coming to me, and all other property of whatsoever kind or character owned by me, I do hereby give and bequeath to my wife ELIZABETH DAVIS.
