Conditions of the above obligation is such that the said A. E. QUISENBERRY has been appointed
temporary administrator of the Estate of ROGER
J. QUISENBERRY Decd. Now if the said A.
E. QUISENBERRY shall well and truly perform all the duties required of him
as temporary Administrator of the estate of the said R. J. QUISENBERRY decd. by law then this obligation shall be null
and void otherwise to remain in full force and effect.

J. QUISENBERRY begs leave to report the following property as having come
to his hands belonging to said estate—11 Head of 3 year old colts this Spring.
Also the following Notes:
One on W. H.
JONES dated Alexandria, La. March 28 1870 payable one day after date for
four hundred and eighty dollars 10 % from date.
One on N. L.
McGINNIS dated Feb. 18, 1870. Alexandria, La. Payable Dec 1870 for eighty
dollars
One on C. P.
HAMPTON dated March 30, 1870 for one hundred dollars with 8% from date—the
above notes all payable to R. J. QUISENBERRY.
The above notes were placed by me in the hands of R. J. A. BOWMAN at attorney at Alexandria for Collection, and his receipt
(unreadable) for same.
Also the following notes came into my possession
belonging to decedent—
One on E. G.
STALLCUP dated Jany19/70 without (?) interest for 100$ in gold.
One note on J.
H. BRYSON date Jany 1870 for the sum of 85$ in gold interest at 8 %.
One note on J.
L. MILLER date Jany. 17/70 for 85$ in gold Int. at 10%.
One note on W.
T. PARKER and M. E. ANDERSON for
the sum of 75$ without Int.
The above notes I placed in the hands of J. M. MAYS an Attorney at Bethay La.
which is in the vicinity where the obligees (sic) on said notes live.
Also another note came to my possession signed SAMUEL (his mark) LEE witnessed W. H. JONES
dated Jany. 8th 1869, payable to R. J. QUISENBERRY for 20$ borrowed
money. The oblige on the note your reporter has failed to find or get any
intelligence of his residence.

One old trunk—and in the trunk a bed spread, a cotton
sheet, beack (?) Summer coat (?), one shirt. I know of no more and I think a
pair of Summer pantaloons and about 4 yds. of brown Jeans—and a derringer
pistol—some daguerreotype pictures—and three deeds to land in Grayson 7 Collin
Countys (sic)—I have paid out for burial expenses of decedent in U. S. currency

would further submit to the court that he kept 13 head of colts from October
1869 until the Winter of 1869 & 1870—and from that time on he kept 12 head
of colts belonging to deceased for the purpose of weaning and preserving the
same, feeding same first Winter and satring (?) during the Summers and feeding
some subsequence
Winters for which he is reasonably entitled to $15 per
head for 12 head making $180.00
For keeping a Jack $ 17.50
I received on this account before the death of R. J. QUISENBERRY $ -50.00
Balance
due $147.50
Report further states at R. J. QUISENBERRY decd. died in Caddo Parish La.—and that Report in
visiting said place to recover the claims belonging to Estate was at some
expense and delay. But that other business of a private character was connected
with said trip—and reporter would therefore make no charge for any expenses or
time against the Estate except five days exclusively occupied by the business
connected with the estate at $2 per day making 10$ which he asks be allowed in
addition to the other account above stated. And that he be discharged as
Temporary Administrator & He would also say that one of the 12 Colts above
charged for was taken away by the deceased in the Spring of 1870, Leaving the
11 colts in my possession as shown above.

would respectfully report that by virtue of an order of the Probate Court of
Collin County he sold the following personal property belonging to intestate,
after advertising as the law directs at public sale on the premises of reporter

been unable after diligent search to find or hear anything of said steer and
that this Report has been delayed in order that said steer might be searched
for and sold if found, under the order heretofore mentioned.
All
of which is respectfully submitted, and Reporter asks that said sale be
confirmed.

Return of sale of Real Estate

B. S. SHELBURNE Admr. of M. B. GRAHAM decd., would represent by
his attorney JOSEPH BLEDSOE, that in
pursuance of an order of the County Court of Collin County rendered at the
March term 1870 directing him to sell the real estate of the said estate in the
Inventory mentioned, that he did after did [sic] advertise the same at the
public place in the County of Collin for more then twenty days prior to sale
day by posting up notices of the time and place and terms of said sale one of
which was in the Court House of Collin County and on the 1st Tuesday in May 1870,--the day appointed in said order for said
sale,--he did at public (unreadable) at
the Court House door of said County offer the said property at public outcry
for sale on a credit of 12 months required the purchaser to note and approved
security and a mortgage on the land to secure the purchase money thereof. When
and where for the tract of 163 acres and the tract of ten acres they being
offered together NATHAN CLARK (?)
bid the sum of twenty five hundred and fifteen dollars, which being the highest
and best bid, the same was stuck of [off?] to him.
And for the 20 acre tract in said Inventory mentioned,
GEORGE T. ARMSTRONG bid the sum of
One Hundred and Eighty Dollars which being the best and highest bid there for
the same was struck off to him.
And
that said sale of 173 and 20 acres are…

…the land in said Inventory described and compose all
of the real estate owned or by (?) the Estate of the said M. B. GRAHAM Decd.
